CALL review2

I have learned a lot of programs which was very useful for computer assisted language learning. Among them, I was really impressed by the website, voice thread in speaking and CALL part. Actually, at first, I thought that it was not so good for English learning because it seemed like just voice record program we could find everwhere. Recording someone's voice merely was not a brand new method for english learning. However, I realized that it was different from the voice record device after I saw the example my professor showed. In the example, a child uploaded his or her voice on the voice thread and shared it. After that, some people replied for the comment. It enabled people to communicate wih each other by using their voice in the website. I realized that the 'thread' meant in the word, 'voice thread'. It wove many people through their voice. Students can learn very important thing in English by using this website. Even though, listening and speaking are both important and students can practice them, they can learn authentic words from the website. In other word, they can listen and speak the real word which we can find in corpora. I think just finding some words in corpora and using them are very different. It is much more hard to use real-life words in learners' speech than to find or to study them in corpora. So I thought that real function of voice thread was invaluable and students could get many things from this website.
